Storage, transport and placement of heat pumps for Ekro
Recently we were hired to set up a number of heat pumps and concrete slabs for Ekro, with whom we have been working for a long time now.
Sustainability project: setting up heat pumps
As part of a sustainability project at Ekro, they had purchased a number of heat pumps. We were asked to transport and set up two heat pumps. Ekro also asked us to store these until installation because the order of placement and exact delivery times were important.
Storage, transport, lifting and internal transfer
First we received the heat pumps from the supplier and stored them in our machine storage warehouses until it was time for installation. These had to be delivered exactly on time and placed in the right order.
We built up our hydraulic gantry inside, then delivered and placed the concrete slabs. We then transported the heat pumps, placed them on top and placed a third slab for a possible third pump in the future.
The challenge this time was in the tight space with a tricky turn that had to be made to bring everything in neatly. That is why we prepared a thorough lifting plan in advance together with Ekro.
Smooth work
To be on the safe side, a week was planned for this project so that it could be tackled carefully. The execution went very smoothly and the work was completed within 3 days. So here we have another satisfied customer!
