Croonwolter & Dros: new air handling unit
What do you do when you need a new air handling unit, but the space is in fact too small to replace it? With the help of one of our compact cranes, we were able to successfully replace the air handling unit for Croonwolter & Dros. A nice assignment in the Open Air Museum in Arnhem.
Compact crane and Dolly
Of course, the old air handling unit had to be removed first, which we did with the compact crane. Before we start work, we always examine the location in detail: what needs to be taken into account? The location is very cramped inside and is in the middle of a forest, making it difficult to access. Despite this challenge, we were able to get started with the right tools. First, we were able to bring the machine to the right place with a Hoeflon Dolly, an electrically mobile platform with caterpillar tracks. The side of the cabin was removed with the compact crane (Hoeflon C10), so that the old unit could be removed. Then we placed the new one neatly on transport rollers in exactly the right place.
Our professional approach has once again paid off here; The air handling unit was replaced smoothly and neatly.
