Project in the spotlight: Gelre Hospital Apeldoorn
The old Combined Heat and Power unit (CHP) in the Gelre Hospital was due for renewal. That is why we replaced it in July. We are the regular supplier for Gelre Hospital for jobs like this one, so they also approached us for this job.
Our employees drove the old CHP unit out on a platform they had built themselves, after which it was lifted out with a lifting gantry. We were then able to lift the old CHP unit down with a mobile crane. Subsequently, the CHP unit was removed by recycling company Van Gerrevink, who has been a permanent partner for years now.
After removing and disposing of the old CHP unit, we hoisted and positioned the new one.
An additional factor to take into account in this project was that the floor cannot be overloaded. This was clear in advance, so we came up with a suitable solution and plan for this.
The project at the Gelre Hospital went according to plan and the customer is satisfied.
